Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix By: J.K. Rowling
Another great read. I tend to have a little harder time with this one though because it seems like Harry is so mad throughout the whole book. I can understand why he is so mad, but I always become uneasy when he starts yelling at those closest to him that are trying to help him, like Ron and Hermoine. Then of course there is also.....HER. Dolores Umbridge (Nope, I wont even give her the respect of the title professor. 😋). However as much as this character drives me crazy. I do feel that Rowling is a genius for creating her however. In part because in life everything isnt always clear cut black and white, good and bad or good vs evil. There are people out there who are mean, nasty, racist, etc. simply for the fact of they want to be or that's just who they are. So Dolores Umbridge is the perfect character to exhibit that there can be people in the world that stand for neither good or bad, but simply look out for themselves and do what they want.
"Dark times have come to Hogwarts. After the Dementors' attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter knows that Voldemort will stop at nothing to find him. There are many who deny the Dark Lord's return, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort's savage assaults on his mind. But they are growing stronger by the day and Harry is running out of time...."
